My love for sewing began early. At six years old, I taught myself to sew on my grandmother’s hand-operated sewing machine. Life took me down a different path, working with children as an educator, but I always longed for a creative outlet.

Becoming a mum brought it all full circle. When it came time to sort through my daughter’s outgrown clothes, I found I couldn’t part with certain pieces — they held too much meaning. That’s how the idea for keepsakes was born: transforming cherished clothing into handmade memory bears, quilts, mama sweatshirts, and more.

Each item I create is stitched with care, preserving the special moments tied to your family’s story.
